Get started making money on e-commerce sites today.
You can start making money today by selling online. You don't need to invest money or have a business to start making money either! All you need to do is open your eyes and take a look around you. Your home that you live in probably has at-least 50 things you can sell online, to someone who would like to have it. You can sell anything; from cups, mugs, kitchenware, art, drawings, toys, wires, electronics, books, clothes, shoes. The list goes on and on. Here are some good websites where you can start selling today!
- Ebay
You can easily set up an Ebay account within 10 minutes and start selling. Just download the app from the app store, or sign-up on thier website at www.ebay.com Ebay allows you to sell almost anything; you can sell cars, high ticket items or just things laying around your home. Just upload some good photos, fill out the description and shipping areas and you are done. You can list an item at auction format or buy it now format. You can also take offers if you list your item at "buy it now" format. Here is a link to Ebay' fees. Once someone purchases your product you wait for them to pay (it will go to your bank or paypal account usually, but they have more options), and then Ebay gives you a notification to mail the product to the buyer. You can use USPS or any other shipping vendor you want. Then once you have shipped the item, you update the tracking number so the buyer knows when it should arrive. Both buyer and seller will rate each other after the sale and Ebay will take it's fees.
2. Letgo
Letgo is a phone app that lets you sell used items to local people in your area. You can also sell nationwide. You use the app to take a photo of things laying acound your home, or even a car. You post the item for free and local people can contact you through the app if they are interested in the item. The only issue is in order to get good attention, you usually have to "feature" your item for a fee, which costs an upfront flat fee. Since letgo was purchased by offerup, they have started also doing nationwide shipping, but this has seller fees associated, so be sure to check out thier fees page here.
3. Offerup
Offerup is the parent company of Letgo, so if you go to the app store, the app will show as both apps combined! By using this app you will be getting the same features as Letgo! It was not always like that though. They used to be competitors!
4. Craigslist
You can list things for sale or even advertise your service or business on craigslist.org Craigslist is a classfied ad website with a very simple layout, that has no bells and whistles. But don't let that fool you, according to this article, craigslist.org had 50 billion page views per month in 2017! Craigslist is very easy to use as well. You just upload some photos to your post, add a description, and pay a small upfront fee. Some posts on craigslist are free so take advantage! Here is a link to craigslist fees.
5. Thriftoo
Thriftoo.com is a new, e-commerce website that will be launching in early 2021. Early users will be able to sell for *free (State sales tax and a *2.9% credit card processing fee will still be charged on each transaction.) Once Thriftoo monetizes, final sales fees will be much lower than most other platforms. Thriftoo will not be a boring website either, so don't expect another run of the mill concept. Thriftoo will be an innovative, disruptive platform unlike any you have seen before, so you definitely want to stay tuned and list your items once the site goes live!
